The police scanner was popping Tuesday morning in Peekskill, as a number of calls came in. A sampling of the calls—which came in between 8 and 10 a.m.—are listed below, the most serious of which appears to be a motor vehicle accident at the corner of South Division Street and Crompond Road.

• Accident at South Division Street and Crompond Road. Ambulances dispatched to the scene. Female transported on advanced life support to NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital. Peekskill Volunteer Ambulance Corps Captain Tim Warn tells The Peekskill Post Tuesday afternoon that the female was the only person taken to the hospital, and that her condition is not serious. 

• Male taken into custody by female police officer.

• Call to 801 South Street

• Peekskill police officer directed to train station as the gate at the train tracks malfunctioned. MTA is sending someone. Officer advised to remain on scene until MTA personnel arrive.

• Resident complaining that people are putting cones in the street in front of 832 John Street.
