A ceremony to remember and celebrate the life of Mitch Williams—a life member of the Peekskill Community Volunteer Ambulance Corps and dispatcher with the Peekskill Police Department—will be held from 5 to 10 p.m. Friday at the Peekskill Riverfront Green.

Come all and join the Peekskill Volunteer Ambulance Corps, City of Peekskill Police Department and the City of Peekskill Fire Department down at the Peekskill Riverfront Green on Friday, July 21, at this memorial for Mitch. All who have known Mitch are welcome to attend this event to share our best Mitch stories. There will be shirts, speeches, music, food and drinks!

We will be having a slideshow of Mitch pictures. If you have ANY pictures of Mitch, we ask that you please email them to When you email them, also list any songs that you knew Mitch liked as well. Thank you!

There will be shirts available for purchase at the event for $20 each. We also ask that you continue to email us any photos of Mitch that you may have, and songs that he may have liked! We will be also having a final call over our radio frequency for Mitch Williams for those that may have scanners at home, or department radios.
