Police have not yet released the name of the elderly woman who died in Saturday’s horrific car accident in Peekskill, in which a total of four victims were sent to Westchester Medical Center after a parked car slammed into them after being hit by a speeding vehicle.

The accident occurred shortly before 5 p.m. when, as the four victims were approaching Washington Street from Hudson Avenue, a car crashed into a parked white car, crushing them.

Peekskill Chief of Police Eric Johansen told The Peekskill Post that the name of the woman who died will be made public Monday, and possibly the driver’s as well.
