During a Friday afternoon press conference at City Hall, Lou Picani, the head of Peekskill City Employees Union Local 456, announced support for the Peekskill United ticket, which consists of Mayor Frank Catalina, Councilman Joe Torres, Common Council candidates Luis Segarra and Robert Sullivan as well as County Legislator John Testa and county legislature candidate Bob Outhouse.

During the press conference, Picani told The Peekskill Post that the union and its members will not only support the candidates for the general election in November, but also do what they can to help Segarra and Sullivan—registered Democrats running on Catalina’s GOP ticket—in next Tuesday’s Democratic primary.
