Among those in attendance were Councilman Andre Rainey and 2015 Common Council candidate Brendon Fitzgerald. All attendees enjoyed free entry, and, once inside, most took advantage of the cash bar and concessions.
After the fight, debates among fans raged on topics such as whether the referee stopped the fight too soon, where Mayweather ranks among the all-time greats in the sport of boxing and how long Mayweather would have lasted against McGregor if the pair had fought under UFC-mixed martial arts rules.
Dramatic Hall, which was filled to capacity for the fight, is located at 900 Main St. in Peekskill.
